The objective was to rapidly ensure basic provisions by providing food assistance. <\/p>\n\n<p>The project was implemented in accordance with the Union&#8217;s internal financial and procurement regulations, which permitted direct procurement from suitable companies in humanitarian emergencies. The selection of suppliers was based on clear criteria such as legal registration, financial capacity, and demonstrated experience in the humanitarian sector. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"512\" height=\"271\" src=\"https:\/\/musing-bassi.202-61-204-191.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/unnamed-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hci-org.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/unnamed-9.jpg 512w, https:\/\/hci-org.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/unnamed-9-300x159.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Thanks to funding from HCI \u2013 Help &amp; Charity International, a total of 200 vegetable baskets were delivered.
